Rowhouse Retreat

LANDSCAPE DESIGN

This handsome brick rowhouse has a small front garden that is a buffer from the sidewalk.

The owner wanted to eliminate her current small lawn and put in a perennial garden that was easy to maintain. The new landscape design has an irregular bluestone walk that is interplanted with Creeping Thyme. Potted and hanging plants give character to the front steps and entry.

The main garden area is planted with Ajuga and Mondo Grass for a durable and aesthetic look. Creeping Jenny adds color to the front fence area and is a bright and friendly sight from the sidewalk.
